Fastest SUVs: official top speeds compared
Official top-speed claims of five performance SUVs, ranked. This is a selection, not a complete world ranking: we only list cars for which we found an official manufacturer document, and we flag figures that depend on options.

- Ranks follow the exact figure stated; “=2” marks equal figures. Ferrari states only “over 310 km/h”, so the Purosangue is listed last without a rank: official data cannot place it against the other four.
- Bentley quotes 310 km/h for the Bentayga Speed with optional carbon-ceramic brakes. The Cayenne figure is for the Turbo E-Hybrid Coupé with GT Package (EU data sheet MY R 09/2023); power is system output.
Quickest 0–100 km/h in this selection
The Ferrari Purosangue and the Aston Martin DBX707 both quote 3.3 s. The Lamborghini Urus SE follows with 3.4 s, then the Bentayga Speed and the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid Coupé GT with 3.6 s each.
What about the most expensive SUV?
We do not publish a “most expensive” ranking. Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley did not show a base price on the official pages we checked, and prices differ by market, specification and options. A ranking built on press-reported or dealer prices would be undated guesswork.
[EDITOR PLACEHOLDER: add a most-expensive section only when official, dated price lists for the same market can be sourced.]
How we ranked
We ranked by the manufacturer's stated top speed. Where a document gives a condition (for example optional carbon-ceramic brakes), the condition is shown. Every row links to its source.
Limits of this comparison
- Figures are manufacturer claims measured under their own test conditions; real-world results differ.
- Specifications and test procedures differ by market (for example DIN, EU unladen or dry weight). Where documents differ, we show the value from the document named in the source link.
- We have not driven or tested these cars. This page contains no driving impressions, reliability ratings or owner reviews.
- A row marked “not published” means we did not find the value in the documents listed; it may exist elsewhere.
Frequently asked questions
